Challenge

Emirates Dreamscape was conceived as an immersive World Expo Pavilion. The challenge was pitching a dynamic, luxurious large-scale experience. It needed to feel personal yet collective, digital yet physical. The goal was transforming the building into a living, breathing brand experience, capturing imagination while communicating Emirates services through guided participation and exploration.

Approach

I joined the team to work alongside the Art Director, supporting his vision. My focus was rolling out UI and brand systems for immersive use, shaping the flight table interface, and creating a visual language linking the architectures interior and exterior. We worked at pace, delivering concepts and assets bridging screens, interactions and environments, which were delivered as cinematic 3D fly-throughs.

Outcome

We developed crystal-driven journeys, focussed on connecting people and their dreams to the space, held together and expressed with the kite motif. I delivered the flight-table design where each crystal unfolded into a personalised kite to launched skyward. The language scaled across façade concepts, interiors, print, web, and social. Outputs enabled the team to assemble an end-to-end vision.

Impact

As a pitch project, success was measured through clarity, ambition, and storytelling. The final film and assets communicated how Emirates could shape the future of travel through immersive, human-centred technology. The work also demonstrated Imagination’s expertise in large-scale experiential concepting, helping strengthen their creative relationship with Emirates.

Rollout inside and out

Exploration of space

Exploration centred on truly understanding the Emirates brand. Every touchpoint had to feel unmistakably Emirates, premium, calm, and confident. From the building itself to interior moments, the experience expressed luxury and boldly communicated their vision of the future.

Features of play

At core, people want to play. The finale sent each visitor’s personal kite into the building to join the collective, a tactile, human moment. Simple, satisfying, uplifting, it created a shared ending aligned with Emirates mindset and sense of flight.
